The city of Aba in Abia state was practically turned downside up on Tuesday, April 25. The frenzy was due to the bail granted the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra – Nnamdi Kanu. 

The streets of Aba were filled with pro-Biafrans who sang and danced to the news of Kanu’s bail.

The streets of Aba were filled with pro-Biafrans who sang and danced to the news of Kanu’s bail Kanu was granted bail by a Federal High Court in Abuja, on Tuesday, April 25. Pro-Biafra suppoerters came from all over Nigeria to be a part of the ruling. There were protests in support for Kanu, songs and chants were not left out of the entire drama. Like so many other cities across Nigeria, the bail fever gripped Aba town. Below are photos from Aba where Nnamdi Kanu has been termed a hero of his time.
